Suppliers we love

We have been helping couples plan their big day at our blank canvas wedding venue for eight years and during this time we have got to know some pretty incredible suppliers. Here are some we really love.

The Rhynd owners Ed and Lisa Foster on their wedding day.

Photographers

Jo + Liam are an incredible husband and wife team from Glasgow. They have bags of energy and passion for what they do. Their attention to detail, and desire to know each couple, brings so much joy and comfort. They manage to capture really intimate moments without you noticing they are even in the room.

Burfly This husband-and-wife team has been photographing couples at The Rhynd for many years and they know the area inside out! Regardless of the weather, they are going to get those incredible couple photos. They can also offer videography on the day too.

Catering

A&D Bar Services is an incredible family run team. We have a mountain of testimonials from couples that have used Alyson and David, and you can completely trust that they will deliver exactly what you want on the big day. From three-course fine dining to relaxed BBQs, they have you covered.

Celebrant

Ian Whitelaw is a wonderful humanist celebrant. Calm and organised, he allows couples to completely personalise every element of their ceremony. Always on hand for advice with the running order, readings and your own vows, he delivers a truly unique ceremony that you will cherish for years to come.

Tegan Elder is part of the modern humanist collective and has been at The Rhynd many times. She is a real hit with our couples and she loves presiding over bespoke ceremonies that truly reflect you both.

Rev. Hazel Jane is a fantastic interfaith minister who brings so much passion, joy and serenity to your big day. She takes a great deal of time to get to know you as individuals, and as a couple, and then crafts a beautiful personalised ceremony that will have you laughing and crying in equal measure.

Bands

Corra is always our go-to band who switch seamlessly from ceilidh dancing to classic wedding tunes. They really get the party started. Not only are they all talented musicians, but they can really sing!

The Woohoo Band is a collective of incredible musicians. Want to add a fiddler for your reception and then have a saxophonist in the evening? No problem at all. They are a fully customisable 3–14-piece band!  You get your own dashboard to add songs and musicians before the big day and they’ll even learn songs for you. They are so much more than just a band.

Decor

Vintage Gathering is another fabulous husband-and-wife team. Go for a full package and they'll arrive, set up and decorate or you can ask them to drop off your decorations and set it up yourself. They get it all done with plenty of time too, often setting up with us before the couple even get access to the venue. They can organise your flowers too.

Magician

There is only one worth mentioning: Elliot Bibby is absolutely mind-blowing!

Flowers

Amy Annand is an incredible florist that knows The Rhynd inside out. She must have done nearly 100 weddings with us now. From simple and elegant, to massive and show stopping, she's got it covered.

The Country Garden is perfect for couples concerned about their environmental impact as they grow their own flowers and use moss instead of oasis. Their arrangements are natural and creative, and they are lovely too!

If you would prefer to do your own flowers, the Keeping the Plot are brilliant for growing seasonal flowers. You can pop in and buy buckets of greenery or flowers and then do your own decorating. Wonderful for creative couples who are happy to take whatever is seasonal.
